chatting to some one who works in a supermarket full time on the min wage we was on about the protest march for better pay
she was saying that there is no point in her getting a pay rise why I asked well I get working tax credits she said yes I said well you would be better off with a pay rise no she said if I get a pay rise they cut my working tax credits so in real money im no better off she then went on to say she could be worse off she could lose money and then there would be no point in going to work
could this be right ?
